About the book
Bill Ryder is a dateless geek until he meets a girl worth dying for, and in Rick Gualtieri's vampire comedy he does just that. He wakes up as a vampire, a legendary hunter of the dark, yet the fangs do nothing to lift him off the bottom of the food chain. The creatures now around him are stronger, deadlier and much cooler than he is, and all of them want to beat him up. Bill is not quite ordinary, though: no vampire like him has been seen for centuries, and he has a few tricks, some unlikely allies and an attitude too obnoxious to give up. The novel is the first volume of a series about him.
