Gaurav Suri and Hartosh Singh Bal's mathematical novel follows Ravi Kapoor, who comes to America to study and is drawn to both mathematics and philosophy. Taking a Stanford class on infinity in the late 1980s, he learns that his grandfather, the mathematician Vijay Sahni, was jailed in 1919 in a small New Jersey town under an obscure blasphemy law. A skeptical judge had challenged Sahni to defend his belief that mathematical certainty could extend to all human knowledge, religion included. The two stories unfold alongside the history of Euclidean geometry and infinity, with the mathematics handled rigorously. The novel won the Association of American Publishers award for best professional and scholarly book in mathematics.

I'd recommend reading anything that helps develop your ability to understand and solve a problem. Triaging issues by importance and properly identifying their causes is critical in almost every aspect of business. Without that, you can easily spend a lot of time on the wrong problem, or an ineffective solution, and your time is, more or less, your most valuable commodity. So I'd suggest books like A Certain Ambiguity by Gaurav Suri and Hartosh Singh Bal, or Freakonomics by Stephen Levitt‎ and Stephen Dubner - books which will explore different ways of delving into problems and understanding their impact.
