About the book
Ken Follett's spy thriller follows Henry Faber, a German agent nicknamed die Nadel, the Needle, after the stiletto he favors. In 1940 he is working at a London railway depot and sending details of Allied troop movements to Berlin. Four years later he is the one German spy in Britain whom MI5 has neither executed nor recruited, so the agency puts a history professor, Godliman, and a widowed former policeman, Bloggs, on his trail. On remote Storm Island, off Scotland's east coast, Lucy lives with her husband David, an RAF trainee pilot who lost the use of his legs in a car crash. The novel won the Edgar Award for Best Novel and was filmed with Donald Sutherland.
Sam Parr described it as an easy, quick read about a Nazi spy in London, a good pick for fans of World War II stories.

Eye of the Needle - A Nazi spy is in London and nearly helps Germany win the war. Tons of death and sex. Easy and fast to read. Perfect if you’re a WW2 fan.
