About the book
Author and speaker Lisa Bevere holds up the lioness as a model for women, an animal she presents as both fierce and tender. She draws on observations from nature about how lionesses guard their young and act together in groups, and on biblical references to lionesses, to challenge women to find fresh passion, prowess and purpose. She explores what it means to protect the young, speak for the silenced, stay in the light while hunting in darkness, and raise a collective roar.
