More Than Enough

Elaine Welteroth's mix of memoir and manifesto draws on her rise through media and fashion, including the editorship in which she brought social consciousness into Teen Vogue. She also writes about being a young boss and frequently the only Black woman in the room, and the pressure on women to believe they fall short. Her answer, reached by looking inward and upward, is that they are more than enough. The book appeared on the New York Times best seller list.

Reese Witherspoon endorsed it as an appeal to young women to speak up and find courage, adding that she would have loved to read it when her own career began.
