About the book
In Mercer Mayer's children's story, a letter Sally Ann has written to Lucy Jane is stolen from the mailbox by a Stamp-Collecting Trollusk and lands in the clutches of one monster after another. Mayer, an award-winning author and illustrator, has made more than 250 children's books, nearly all of them featuring dragons and cuddly monsters.
Pixar co-founder Ed Catmull told Tools of Titans it is one of the children's books he has given as a gift more than once, and that he loves it.

I would say there are certain children's books I've given a few times, like One Monster After Another, by Mercer Mayer. I love that book.
