Our Iceberg Is Melting

The story follows a colony of emperor penguins living on an Antarctic iceberg as they have for many years, until one curious penguin discovers a problem that could destroy their home and almost no one will listen to him. John P. Kotter and Holger Rathgeber tell the story through penguins named Louis, Fred, Alice, Buddy, NoNo and the Professor, whose tale involves resistance to change, bold action, obstacles that seem immovable and clever tactics for getting past them. The fable rests on Kotter's research at Harvard Business School into eight steps that can bring about needed change in any kind of group, and it is meant to help people handle the stress and uncertainty of rapid change.
