Giving and receiving feedback is a skill (Book Club Talk: Thanks for the Feedback)
The second episode of our podcast is here! And this time you get to listen to the complete team: Cristina, Bobby, Vlad and Theo.
Not long after we started The CEO Library, Bobby came up with the idea that we should start a book club – an extremely small one, just within our team. 🙂
Once every two weeks, one of us chooses a book that we all read and then talk about it together. These are usually books that will help us grow together as a team and business, so no fiction books (at least not yet).
This is what our new podcast episode is about: the book that we recently read for our book club. You get to listen to us debate Thanks for the Feedback: The Science and Art of Receiving Feedback Well, by Douglas Stone and Sheila Heen, a book that was chosen by Theo. It’s one of those books that you never thought you needed until you actually start reading it, as it can prove to be helpful both on a personal and professional level.
Listen to us talk about it here:
We’ll record our next book club podcast in one month from now, on January 15th, 2018, when we’ll talk about Eric Ries’ The Lean Startup and his methodology for startups (Bobby explains why he chose that book at the end of the podcast). If you want to read it together with us, we’d love to hear your feedback as well, so hit the comments section. 🙂
Books mentioned in this podcast:
