Scrum and XP from the Trenches

How one Swedish company adopted Scrum and XP with a team of about 40 people, and kept refining its process over a year, is the subject of Henrik Kniberg's practical account. Under Kniberg's leadership the teams tried different team sizes and sprint lengths, several definitions of done, new formats for product and sprint backlogs, and different ways of testing, running demos and keeping several Scrum teams in step. They also combined XP practices such as pair programming, continuous builds and test-driven development with Scrum. The book collects tips for most practices, typical pitfalls and their fixes, planning and estimation techniques and ways to handle resistance, illustrated with diagrams and photos of daily work.
