About the book
Kathryn Bonella, author of Hotel Kerobokan, turns to the drug trade that has made Bali a major hub in the worldwide movement of narcotics. Among the island's dealers, snowing is code for a large cocaine shipment that has just landed. Bonella explains why Bali suits traffickers: its central position for the Asia Pacific market, a tourist industry that gives cover for imports and a culture of corruption. Given rare access to some of the biggest players, past and present, she traces their rise to wealth and power and their extravagant, drug-fuelled lives, along with the punishment facing those caught and convicted, as far as death row in an Indonesian prison.
MailBird chief executive Andrea Loubier said it held some surprising entrepreneurial lessons and was all the more interesting because she lives on the island.

Andrea Loubier (CEO/MailBird)
I just read It's Snowing in Bali which is about the drug underworld on the exotic island of Bali. There are some interesting entrepreneurial lessons in there surprisingly, but the people in the book were crazy and it was more interesting since I live on the island and that this book was based on a true story.
