About the book
Robin Sharma, the Canadian author of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, frames his case for rising early as a fictional story. An entrepreneur facing burnout and an artist seeking creative renewal meet a billionaire, a student of a famed speaker called the Spellbinder, who becomes their mentor and teaches them his morning routine. The central claim is that waking at 5 a.m. can give people time to themselves and improve results in work and life. Sharma's 20/20/20 Formula divides the day's opening hour into three blocks of 20 minutes for exercise, reflection and learning. Part of the story is set in Mauritius. HarperCollins published it in December 2018, after four years of writing.
