The Boys Vol. 1

In a world where costumed heroes fly overhead and masked vigilantes roam at night, someone has to keep the supes in line. Garth Ennis's answer is the Boys: Billy Butcher, the Frenchman, Mother's Milk, the Female and Wee Hughie, a dangerous team backed by the CIA whose task is to watch superheroes, rein them in and, when needed, remove them. The volume collects the first six issues of the comic series, written by Ennis, known for Preacher and The Punisher, and drawn by Darick Robertson, whose earlier work includes Transmetropolitan and Wolverine. Its themes take in antiheroes and the line between good and evil in a world of superpowered people.

In a podcast interview, Naval Ravikant, who says he loves graphic novels, mentioned that he had been rereading The Boys.
