About the book
A modern parable opens the book by Bruce Wilkinson and Heather Kopp: a character named Ordinary, aided by the Dream Giver, sets out from the Land of Familiar in pursuit of his Big Dream. Wilkinson uses the story to identify the obstacles that keep millions of people from the lives they were made to lead, and to show how those obstacles can be overcome. He then offers practical keys drawn from the Bible for fulfilling a personal dream, arguing that God's power to accomplish things is unlimited when people pursue the dreams He gives them for His honor. Its subjects are Christian living and success seen in religious terms.
Michael Woodward, founder of jumbleThink, rereads it every year and said it guides people with big ideas through the process of making them real.

This book is about chasing dreams and ideas. It is an allegory that shares the story of the main character named ‘Ordinary’. Ordinary chooses to leave the land of familiar to pursue his big dream. The book does a great job of walking those with big ideas and dreams through the process of making that a reality. This is a book that I read every year. It reminds me of why I’m on the journey to help others chase their big ideas and dreams.
