About the book
Ari Rabin-Havt, a close adviser to Bernie Sanders and deputy manager of his most recent presidential campaign, spent more time with the Vermont senator between 2017 and 2020 than anyone else. The two visited thirty-six states for rallies and to back striking workers, driving tens of thousands of miles. Rabin-Havt gives an inside account of the campaign, which began in his Washington apartment in January 2018, including Sanders's heart attack in Las Vegas, his debate clash with Elizabeth Warren and a previously unreported conversation with Barack Obama. He also shows Sanders away from the cameras: his dry humor, his view of young supporters and his wife Jane's central role. Glimpses also cover his Brooklyn childhood and Burlington political start.
Lex Fridman told Sanders it was a great book about him, noting that Rabin-Havt had been his deputy campaign manager.

So Ari Rabin-Havt, who was a former deputy campaign manager, wrote a great book I would say about you called The Fighting Soul: On the Road with Bernie Sanders.
