About the book
Daniel H. Pink argues that regret, a widely misunderstood emotion, is universal and healthy, and that understanding it can help people make better decisions, do better work and find more meaning. Drawing on social psychology, neuroscience and biology, he rejects the no-regrets philosophy of life. He also draws on his own World Regret Survey, which collected answers from over 15,000 people in 105 countries, to identify four core regrets. Pink contends that what people regret most reveals what they value most, and he pairs true stories of regret with practical advice for turning it into a positive force.
Seth Godin included it in his Books for the journey reading list.
