GETAbout the book
Over the eighteen months after a 2009 dinner in Boulder, Colorado, Tyler Hamilton told Daniel Coyle his own story and his sport's, sparing himself nothing. The result is an inside account of professional cycling and the Tour de France: the doping, the lying and the cover-ups, and Hamilton's years on U.S. Postal as a teammate of Lance Armstrong. It portrays a world of intensely driven characters, some of them flawed, where competitors used every means to gain an edge and the options were stark. Hamilton's account also became the most damning indictment yet of teammates such as Armstrong. It took the William Hill award for sports book of the year.
Peter Attia called it unbelievably good and said it is one of roughly three or four books he has read in one sitting.

What an unbelievably good book that was. That’s one of about three or four books in my life that I read in one sitting.
