About the book
Set in the American Wild West, Karl May's trilogy follows Charlie, a young German immigrant who becomes the hero Old Shatterhand, able to fell any enemy with one blow. He kills only when there is no alternative, and he becomes the blood brother of Winnetou, chief of the Apache. His adventures take in bison hunts, wild mustangs, war between the Apache and the Kiowa, bandits preparing to attack a silver mine, and the treasure of the Apache. Throughout, Old Shatterhand keeps his wish to help the Native Americans. The volume gathers the whole trilogy in an unabridged English translation with a modernized style and edits to passages judged erroneous.

Tudor Teodorescu (Founder/Transylvania Uncharted)
I am talking now about Karl Friedrich May’s Trilogy – Winnetou. Those were actually the first books that I read on my own will and not “forced” by the school. If you read them, you know how amazing the story and characters are and if you did not read them so far, I would strongly suggest to do so.
