About the book
How Microsoft set out to rebuild its culture is the story Satya Nadella tells from the chief executive's chair, written with Greg Shaw and Jill Tracie Nichols. He moves between his childhood in India, his move to the United States and his years at the company before taking the top job. Anecdotes about cricket and about the challenges of his son's medical problems recur throughout, and he describes empathy as what keeps him grounded. The closing chapters look ahead at three technologies he expects to change society: quantum computing, mixed reality and artificial intelligence. With a foreword by Bill Gates, it was published in 2017, and Nadella announced that its profits would go to Microsoft Philanthropies.
Gashub CEO Aviers Lim recommended reading a book on Satya Nadella, one of the books he credits with shaping his mindset.
