About the book
Liz Wiseman contrasts two kinds of leaders. Diminishers drain the intelligence, energy and capability of those around them and need to be the smartest in the room. Multipliers use their own intelligence to amplify the abilities of others, so that ideas flow, problems get solved and employees stretch beyond expectations. From data on more than 150 leaders, Wiseman and her co-author Greg McKeown identify five disciplines that separate the two types. The book argues that Multipliers pay off for organizations by achieving more with less, attracting and growing talent, and generating the ideas and energy behind change. Stephen R. Covey wrote the foreword, and HarperCollins published it in 2010.
Mailchimp co-founder Ben Chestnut called it an excellent book on leadership.
