About the book
A series of dialogues between the spiritual leader Jiddu Krishnamurti and the physicist David Bohm, two men from very different backgrounds, looks at where human conflict comes from and what stands in the way of insight. Their exchanges range over illusion, awakening, transcendence, renewal, morality, time, death and the fragmented mind, as well as a person's relationship to society. The two argue that humanity has taken a wrong turn that can be corrected. Fundamental change, they hold, means moving away from narrow personal interests toward the general, and then deeper into a compassion, love and intelligence that lie beyond thought and time.
