Uncle Shawn and Bill and the Almost Entirely Unplanned Adventure
About the book
Costa Award-winning author A. L. Kennedy opens a comic series for children, illustrated by Gemma Correll. Badger Bill has been kidnapped by two nasty sisters who plan to make him box against three dogs, four very depressed llamas are about to become llama pies, and Uncle Shawn, who loves rescuing things, sets out to save them.
Writer Alina Varlanuta, creator of The Hole in Your Head, said she was finishing it and that this children's story makes her laugh when nobody is watching.

I’m also finishing ‘Uncle Shawn and Bill and the almost entirely unplanned adventure’ by A.L. Kennedy & Gemma Correll (illustrations). It’s a book for children and it makes me laugh when nobody’s watching.
